Meet Jess Lai Mieritz!
Jessica Mieritz is a Chicagoland guitarist and composer. She has been playing guitar since her childhood and primarily plays rock and metal. She studies music production as well, with a knack for mixing and mastering. She is a female in a male-dominated field and has been paving a path for herself since she began studying music.
She intends to inspire younger female guitarists everywhere in the future.
She graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, with a degree in Professional Music and Minor in Instrument Repair. Top of her class, she acquired the honor of Summa Cum Laude. She also sings, plays bass, the bass clarinet, clarinet, contrabass clarinet, and can play the piano as well.
